Kessler Clamp        

These type hatch clamps started to appear on Lakers sometime during the early 1950's and are still in use today. Very little changes with a few boats have a bit longer clamps. Donated by Tom Sprung

 

Hull Platting        

When iron and steel hull construction came along the late 1800's, different types of plating where used on all types of vessels. This very nice little diagram showing the different types of hull platting used till the mid 1900's.

 

Self Unloaded Rollers          

Here are some roller configurations used for the belts by some self unloaded Lakers. Not sure which ones where used, but this might at least give you some ideas or point you in the right direction.
