I've really come to like these tugs after
doing the photo shoot of the
Anchor Bay. I
happen to find a HO resin kit made by
Frenchman River Model Works. It might be small, but don't
let that foul you, it has some good detail!!

A little
feature story on what I do for my job,
Laser
Scanning and Reverse Engineering. Nothing real special,
but definitely interesting work, and I get to mess with all
types of models!!

G.L.M.A.
Robert K. Tompsett adds his Edmund
Fitzgerald model to our gallery. Robert had the distinct honor
of having his model publish in Scale Ship Modeler Magazine.
Roberts model is the 12 Big Fitz to be added to the G.L.M.A.
There is no question how the Fitz and her crew have inspired a
intrest in Great Lake models!!

A feature story on John Foley and his 30'
diarama model of the Bell
River in the 1800's. Johns model is on display at the
Marine City Museum whom he is also the curator. Nothing sort of
outstanding here!!! |

I've
several emails regarding
scales and scaling, so I thought it would be best to put together a
page on the matter. It's full of how toes, suggestions and computer
tools to help with scaling. Thanks for the web direction - updates
folks!! Scaling

3D Edmund Fitzgerald By Sam
Perkins-Harbin
A very cool model put together by Sam.
Rather then building a model of wood and
plastic, it's build of wire frames and polygons. Check his website
out !!

The G.L.M.A.
Celebrates her 3rd year.
It's been 3 years in
starting this group, 3 years of dedicated work and it's finally
paying off. Thank you for your support and the sharing of you
models. It is turning into exactly what I had hoped for. A place of
inspiration and creativity to our fellow modelers. Thanks
