Here is a few images of Scotts 1/87 1000 Footer in her early stages.  The hull when completed will be around 11.5 feet long, so the hull is designed to come apart in two sections. Below you can see the ballast tanks frame up near completion. Scotts next step is to finish framing the more complicated stern section.
