We have the honor to have some high profile people to judge the event. Such as  LCDR Mike McBrady ( Capt. of the USCG Hollyhock ). Others to be listed.

Models:  50 models to display, possibly up to about 80 models.

Pond: A rather large 60x30 foot pond 10" deep will be constructed on the dock. The picture bellow shows the layout.

The USCG Bramble Buoy TenderUSCG Hollyhock, Sea Cedets Grey Fox will all be just outside the doors, all open for tours. Also the Maritime Mart with Great Lake Collectables will be share the Seaway Terminal with us.

This is to coincide with many events going on during the same weekend around Port Huron, so there will be much to do and see around town all weekend. The facilities we have been offered to use are nothing short of perfect. As you can see by the photos it’s right off the St. Clair River, with a beautiful view through the large bay doors. This will be a judged event by experience modelers with awards being given. With the many spectators a “People’s Choice Award” will also be given. No matter if you’re a first time modeler or master model builder, everyone is welcome. As we plan for this great event, we will keep you posted with further information and details. Hope to see you there!! To inquire further information email Jeff Churill at: lakers@sprynet.com
