 Fleet Colors are posted in the Database!!! Possibly one of the most important additions to this website!!! All swatches are from actual paint samples!!! Note that some research and testing still needs to be done, but it's up for you to browse through!! Special thanks to Tom Sprung!

 Robert K. Tompsett adds his Edmund Fitzgerald model to our gallery. Robert had the distinct honor of having his model publish in Scale Ship Modeler Magazine. Roberts model is the 12 Big Fitz to be added to the G.L.M.A. There is no question how the Fitz and her crew have inspired a intrest in Great Lake models!!

 Brian Perrault builds two of the ferry's that ran between Mackinaw and St. Ignis Michigan. The Sainte Marie & Chief Wawatam. Two very unique boats of the Great Lakes making for two very nice projects! Great job Brian!!!

 A 1800's Steam Tug built by Peter Benzing. Peter is a master of the half hulls, a technique you don't see as much anymore. Much of Peters work can be found around Munising Michigan.Very well done Peter!!

 Duane Collicott builds the Stewart J. Cort out of LEGO's !! Duane is a master with LEGO's and the Cort is just one of many monster LEGO builds he's done. Duane put together a very nice article about his Laker! He is also the master mind behind "Bricks for Brains" An educational program to teach kids about engineering using LEGO's Very kool!!!!

 Kevin Williams adds another boat to his rather large fleet of Lake Boats. This on of a Canadian Steamship Lines built for a friend of his, the Comfort Bay. Another nice build Kevin!!

 The Database is finally getting somewhere! I had to completely rebuild her, over 1000 images, so it set me back a bit. However the core is posted I can start updating her on a regular basis. I have so many very useful images to share!! So here's the start to the new database. Added so far is the Reserve and Willis B. Boyer Collections. Very excited!!

Again once and awhile you come across a model that just blows you away. Richard Sullivan built the Edmund Fitzgerald as she rest on the bottom of Superior. Scott Monsma took these shot of Richards model at the Wisconson Maritime Museum in Manitowoc www.wisconsinmaritime.org Very nice....thanks Scott!!!!!

The very cool Eagle Boats of 1918 built by Ford Motor Co. The little guys where designed to hunt subs after WW1. N. Hissley did a very nice job with model. I have to get me one of these!!

Finally after a lot of trial and error, I got the Database started. This will be an ever expanding and updated place where you may find reference images for your modeling. This is just the start of what's to follow.

Launch date on  November 10,2000
