Vessel Name:

Early 20th Century HO Train Layout

Model Railroader since the 1940's turned 'Laker' in my '70's.   Recently I "received" a finished layout , 11' X 8', with 'over and under' configuration.  Removed 'over' and ended with a "Yin-Yang' design.  What to do about the interior ovals?  Boats!!

Raised on the Detroit River, sought pix on line and enjoyed Bulk, Screw Carriers of the 1880's-1920's.  Decided to try 'waterline' style and will attach pix of first try.

Am 'old dog' learning new tricks (R/C) moving into tug boats & bulk carriers - generic and free lance, using a Microglass hull - 18" long for the tug and aiming for an 1/87 "Canaller" of about 280' a la' Alan Hinchman.
