Well, it's boatbuilding season
again. This year I'm taking an easier project, but, a very cool one.
I haven't seen anyone build a Cliff's Maritimer (Or any Maritimer for
case... and Al Jackman was so kind to work with me to get the prints),
so, I figured it would be a good project.
As for some details I'm building
her early in her career (August 4th, 1947 to be exact, my grandmother
was nice to take some photos of her down bound at the Soo. For you
history buffs she followed the Tom Girdler that day.) with Cleveland
Cliff Billboards and in my usual 1"=10' scale. Yep, you probably
already guessed she'll be unveiled in Port Huron next year.
