Vessel Name:

St. Clair Lightship

If it's one thing I like about Keith's work, it's his choice of projects. There has to be but a few models of this little beauty.

The St. Clair Lightship was in service from 1902 - 1939. It was known originally as the "Grosse Pointe" (Light Vessel No. 75) until renamed the "St. Clair" station in 1911. It was remodeled in the 1926 as one of the first "automated" lightships (unmanned) the first so on the lakes. This is how I depicted her.
