Greetings fellow lakeboat lovers!  I'm Ken Larsen, a model railroader and Great Lakes industry enthusiast.  I am currently constructing an HO scale model of a steel mill, complete with blast furnaces and, yes, an ore boat.  The ore boat model, named the "Victoria", is a fictional model painted in Cleveland-Cliffs livery. Ken's model with Mike Rabbitts HO steel mill, what a sight. Mike is considered by many of us industrial railroading modelers to be THE foremost expert on steel making machinery and architecture; some of his scale drawings were used by Dean Freytag in his famous steel mill layout.
