Don is close to finishing his model of the Detroit
to Windsor Car Ferry Manitowoc. Of course it's HO scale 1/87
which puts her at 45" long with a beam of 9.25". These are
some of the most unique car ferrys ever built. They may look
like a simple barge, but they are far from it! Somehow they
manage to pack two steam engine below deck, with enough
power to push though the winter river ice!
