 Here are the two models of my boat together, one on the left as she looks now and one as she did when she was built in 1941, on the right as she is today. The 1941 version is currently on display at the White River Light Station in Montague,MI., as that was her home port until 1947.

More Fishing Tugs!!

MAGGIE LYNN 240396 Built 1941 by Burger Boat Co.  measuring 44ft. x 13ft steel hull.  Powered by a 50-60 Kahlenberg oil engine. Original owner in 1941 was Floyd Grover of Montaque, Mich. In 1949 the boat was sold to Chicago fish dealer Lawrence A. Schweig. Fred Post of Chicago for a time also owned the boat. In 1952 Stenberg Bros., Pentwater, Mich., were the owners being re-powered with a 75-90 Kahlenberg. Present owners are Petersen Fisheries of Muskegon, Mich. since 1971. Being re-powered again with a  Caterpillar D353 turbocharged diesel.
