Building the 1/87 Edmund Fitzgerald

"The Big Fitz" Median Voyage

June 2002 So what have I been up to these last few months, really not to much when it comes to building on the Fitzgerald. I did however throw the radio gear in a take her for a few trial runs. I really didn’t have to do much to get the hull ready for the water. The first run was with the Michigan Scale Model Boat Club during one of there Fun Runs in Lansing Michigan, during which I became a member, a fine group of modelers. I must say the Fitzgerald performed much better then I expected. The second run after a few modifications, was on Anchor Bay at my brothers. She again performed great, all I can ask for. Then I dropped her on the seawall and put a big dent in the side. Ouch

Opps......got the line all rapped in the prop !!!!!!
