Foam Side Panels

This section will go fairly quickly and easily, all your doing here is gluing on the foam Sides and shaping them to fit the Spar Deck camber and hull bottom. Only thing to remember here is to cut the Foam Sides 1/4 of an inch larger, this will give you room to sand the panels down for a good fit. I again us 3M adhesive spry to glue the panels on.

1.   First cut your panels out larger then then the frame and check for a good fit. Now spry each surface lightly with 3M adhesive spry. Go ahead and join the panel to the hull. Be carefully this 3M stuff is very sticky.

2.   Once you Panel is on you can sand down the bottom to mach the hull bottom. Do the same with the forward bulkhead.

3.   Now sand down the top using the center bulkhead as a giude.

4.   Check the Spar Deck camber, you will notice about 1/16th of an inch needs to be taken of the outer most end of the foam Panels.

5.   Sand this down by making a line with a marker along the edge. This will give you a guide so you don't sand to much off. Sand it down with the sanding block parallel with the hull.

7.   Finally check everything is perfect with a large straight edge.
