Spar Deck stg2    ( Glue the Deck )

Ok so everything is looking good and square, now it's time to get that Spar Deck attached. You will need a lot of weights to make sure the Spar Deck is seated right while the glue dries. Also you need some epoxy with a long cure time so it don't harden on you while spreading all this glue around.

1.   First add another coat of epoxy to the Spar Deck bottom side to make sure it's sealed. DO NOT wait till it dries, go to the next step.

2.   Spread a coat of epoxy on the hull upper surfaces. Note the red epoxy, it has Micro-Balloons added to help fill in gaps and seal things up a little better.

3.   Take a mixture of epoxy and add Cabosil or even Micro-Balloons to thicken up the mixture. Now add this to the upper surface of the Ballast Tank Frame so it don't run down the side.

4.   Place the Spar Deck on a square it up. Add your waits a let it dry. Do the same with the stern section.
